Weir University is a ‘virtual’ resource specifically designed to promote and enhance Weir’s three key drivers of growth: Innovation, Collaboration and Global Capability.
It provides an online platform for all Weir employees to access dedicated training and professional development solutions that are designed to build their skills, knowledge and capability in a consistent way – the Weir Way.
The Weir University structure and content will grow and evolve over time as new courses are developed, sourced and added. Initial material is focused on the areas of Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Leadership Development.
All of the courses will be made available and delivered through a variety of partners – specific universities and technical schools, commercial training organisations, internal Weir experts and online learning providers – with employees able to undertake the e-learning that interests them at a pace that suits their individual needs.
