Acquisition
Further to our announcement on 14 June 2010
regarding the proposed acquisition of the Linatex group of
companies (“Linatex”), The Weir Group PLC confirms that following
receipt of regulatory clearance from the South African competition
authorities on 9 September 2010, the acquisition of Linatex has
been completed today.
Terms used in this announcement have the same
meaning as set out in the announcement dated 14 June 2010.
