Acquisition
The Weir Group PLC announces that it has
completed the acquisition of Mesa Manufacturing Inc. (“Mesa”) for a
cash consideration of $40million.
Mesa, a family owned business based in Odessa, Texas is a
specialist manufacturer of cementing pumps and other products for
the oil and gas drilling and well service industries. The company
had 2007 sales of over $20million.
