Acquisition
The Weir Group PLC announces that it has
completed the acquisition of a 75% shareholding in Standard
Oilfield Services Limited for a cash consideration of
c$16million.
Standard Oilfield Services Limited, a
privately owned company with its principal operations in Baku,
Azerbaijan, is an oil equipment services business, providing an
excellent portal to the Caspian region. The company has
expected current year sales of over $12million.
This business will become part of Weir Oil
& Gas Division.
