Transfer of Treasury Shares

The Weir Group PLC (“the Company”) announces that on 29 June 2010, 132,884 ordinary shares of 12.5p each held as treasury shares were transferred to participants to satisfy awards granted in 2007 under the Group Long Term Incentive Plan.

Following the above transfer, the Company now holds 2,081,090 ordinary shares in treasury and has 210,728,477 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares).
